Clarity in One Direction

— A note from my questioning mind
Once, a friend shared a piece that said:
“Ambition kills laziness.”
Then asked the reader to flip it:
“Laziness kills ambition.”
The message was sharp — even clever. But for my mind, which often walks in spirals rather than lines, this kind of inversion felt too brutal.
So I softened it. Rewrote it. Not to reject its truth, but to make space for a way of seeing that felt less like a duel, and more like a choice.
Because for those of us with questioning hearts, it’s simpler to choose one direction and stay curious about it — instead of endlessly flipping the page.
